So my Monday night league has been going well until AMF West Allis stopped caring about their lane conditions.  I had a 205 avg until I was forced to shoot on oil-free lanes.  No oil.  Literally.  My plastic spare ball was the only ball that would not hook right off the lane.  Until it became caked in some kind of black tape residue which was from the brilliant mechanic's idea fixing something.  Apparently when the machinery isn't working you should just cover it in black sticky tape?  Clearly the owners are not bowlers.  The money they lose from nonreturning bowlers will far outweigh the money saved by slacking on maintainence.

So I shot a 583 series last night at AMF West Allis.  222, 197, and 164.  Splits in the third game killed me.  Lanes broke down and with every move I made I still ended up coming in too high.  Oh well.....still well above my goal average of 175.
